Terms and Conditions of Use

Introduction

Please review these Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) carefully before accessing, using, or obtaining any materials, information, products, or services from Skill2Web. Our website, web application, APIs, and related services are collectively referred to as the “Platform.”

By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, starting a subscription, or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy and Cookies Policy at https://skill2web.com/privacy-policy. “Skill2Web,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Skill2Web; “you” and “your” refer to the user. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the Platform.

1. Agreement and eligibility

You accept responsibility for complying with all laws and rules applicable to your use of the Platform. Platform materials are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. If you use the Platform for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Service and accounts

Skill2Web provides digital software services that turn administrator-imported character, expert, and knowledge materials into AI chat experiences and may provide related Skill conversion services. Digital access begins when an account is created or payment is confirmed.

You must provide accurate account information, keep your billing email current, protect login credentials and API keys, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Notify support@skill2web.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

The Platform may use third-party AI providers, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Moonshot. When you select a provider or use your own API key (“BYOK”), you authorize Skill2Web to transmit the information needed to complete that request to the selected provider, subject to its terms and privacy practices.

3. Plans, credits, billing, and payment

Current plans, features, prices, quotas, and billing periods are shown at https://skill2web.com/pricing and at checkout. Skill2Web may offer monthly or annual subscriptions, one-time credit packs, and Skill conversion services.

A paid subscription begins when the initial payment is processed and renews automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize Skill2Web and Waffo Pancake, our payment processor and Merchant of Record, to store the payment authorization and charge the displayed subscription fee and applicable taxes for each renewal. Skill2Web does not store complete card numbers.

Paid membership currently includes 5,000 platform credits for each monthly allowance period. Subscription credits expire at the end of that period and do not roll over. Separately purchased credits expire 365 days after grant unless checkout states otherwise. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash. Failed requests or requests without a usable result should not consume credits.

4. Refund policy

Skill2Web provides intangible digital products and services that are delivered immediately. Once an order has been completed and the product, credits, subscription access, or conversion service has been delivered, payments are generally non-refundable. Please review the product, pricing, and these Terms before paying.

We will consider a refund request for a technical error directly attributable to a Skill2Web system malfunction when the request is submitted within 24 hours after the initial payment. “Initial payment” means the first payment associated with an identified account and excludes renewals, upgrades, top-ups, and later purchases. The request must include a clear explanation and evidence sufficient for us to verify the problem. Limited use or dissatisfaction alone does not establish refund eligibility.

A verified duplicate or incorrect charge may also be refunded. Any refund or withdrawal right that cannot legally be excluded remains available. Send requests from the account email to support@skill2web.com with the order or transaction ID; never send complete card details. We aim to respond within 48 hours. If approved, Waffo Pancake will be asked to process the refund, which normally takes five to ten business days before any additional bank processing time.

5. Subscription cancellation

You may cancel a subscription at any time through Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription or by contacting support@skill2web.com from the registered email before renewal. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the paid billing period, and you may continue using the subscription until then.

After cancellation, no charge will be made for a later billing period. Cancellation does not refund the current or an earlier billing period, and unused credits remain subject to their displayed expiry date.

6. License to use Platform materials

Skill2Web grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access Platform materials for personal or internal use. This is a license, not a transfer of ownership.

Unless Skill2Web expressly permits it, you may not reproduce or modify Platform materials; use them for unauthorized commercial display or resale; decompile or reverse engineer Platform software; remove copyright or proprietary notices; transfer the materials to another person; or mirror them on another server. A violation may result in immediate termination of this license.

7. User content and AI outputs

You retain rights in content you submit (“Inputs”). You grant Skill2Web a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display Inputs only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Platform, handle support or rights complaints, and comply with applicable requirements. Skill2Web does not use private conversations to train its own AI models without explicit consent.

To the extent permitted by applicable law and third-party provider terms, you may use AI-generated responses (“Outputs”) for lawful purposes. Anyone uploading or requesting conversion of a Skill, repository, image, name, excerpt, or other material must have the rights necessary for that use. Skill2Web may restrict or remove disputed, unlawful, or unsafe material.

8. Prohibited use

You may not use the Platform to break the law; infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; harass, defame, defraud, or impersonate others; exploit minors; create deceptive deepfakes; distribute malware, phishing, or attack tools; bypass security, access controls, quotas, or rate limits; extract private prompts, files, credentials, or personal data; scrape Outputs at scale; or resell access without permission.

You may not present an AI Output as verified professional advice where that could cause harm, or use Platform Inputs, Outputs, model responses, or derivatives to train, fine-tune, distill, benchmark, or develop a competing AI or machine-learning service.

9. Warranty disclaimer and content accuracy

The Platform and all materials are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by applicable law, Skill2Web disclaims express and implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and accuracy.

AI-generated and other Platform content may contain technical, factual, typographical, or other errors and may be incomplete or outdated. Character or expert pages are AI simulations based on source material, not the real person and not an endorsement. Outputs are not medical, legal, financial, investment, or other professional advice. You are responsible for checking content before relying on or publishing it.

Skill2Web may change Platform content at any time and is not obligated to update every item.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Skill2Web and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits or data, inability to use the Platform, decisions based on AI Outputs, third-party provider conduct, or material submitted without permission, even if advised that such loss was possible.

Skill2Web’s aggregate liability arising from a claim will not exceed the amount you paid through the Platform during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Limitations that are prohibited by applicable law do not apply.

11. External links and third-party services

The Platform may link to or depend on third-party websites, AI models, payment systems, authentication providers, infrastructure, and other services. Skill2Web does not control or endorse every linked service and is not responsible for its content, availability, security, or privacy practices. Your use of a third-party service is at your discretion and may be governed by separate terms.

12. Changes, suspension, and governing rules

Skill2Web may revise these Terms or the Platform from time to time. The current version and effective date will be posted here, and material changes may also be communicated by email or an in-product notice. Continuing to use the Platform after a revision takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Skill2Web may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account or content for a material breach, fraud, unlawful activity, risk to users or the Platform, a valid rights complaint, or a legal requirement. Terms that should reasonably survive termination—including payment, intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, and dispute provisions—will continue to apply.

Claims relating to the Platform are governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before starting formal proceedings, contact support@skill2web.com and allow a reasonable opportunity for informal resolution. Any unresolved matter may be submitted to a court or other forum with valid jurisdiction.
